A convenient truth

It is January 15th. Today's high temperature in Atlanta is 72. I'm wearing shorts.

And people are against global warming?

Al Gore can suck it.

Were you channeling your inner Rush Limbaugh when you wrote that?

I'd imagine the people in Dallas and LA, where it is or was in the 20s, would disagree with you.

I would love me some global warming right about now (in WI, 7 degrees with wind chill, 6 inches of snow).

I think the fact that you even conceded global warming is real would be considered a critical victory by folks like Al Gore.

Now if you could just get the word to Dubya.

Thinking global warming is real and thinking the Kyoto Treaty is a good idea are two different things.

Oh, and don't lump me in with Gore's camp either. I won't claim to be an expert on such things (as too many folks do), but I do believe in a warming trend. I'm not sold, though, on the idea humans have anything to do with it.

I can assure you that the last thing I would ever do is lump you in with Gore's camp. But I have looked deep down inside your soul, and I know that you secretly loves yourself some Obama.

Hi Doug, I'm Alex. I think we should be friends. I bet we'd have lots of things in common when it comes to disagreeing with Josh, like the time he said it was "cute" that I thought recycling mattered.
